Alice Pauline Brewster, 88, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019.

Born in Harvey, IL, she was the daughter of the late Frank Lanham and Willie Ruth Poland Lanham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Sullivan; second husband, Robert Brewster; brother, Charles; and sister, Jan. Alice was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her life had many obstacles, yet through it all, her love and caring for her family remained her focus. Alice drew her strength from her family and friends and left her legacy with many. There was nothing she liked better than an interesting conversation with a good friend. She could have an engaging conversation with anyone and was a confidant to many. Alice had a passion for music and books. She had the voice of an angel.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Ledford (Richard); son, Michael Sullivan (Kathy); grandchildren, Christopher Sullivan, Joshua Ledford, Jonathan Ledford, and Jessica Ledford Kelley; and great-grandchildren, Piper Dee Kelley, Alexandra Cailey Sullivan, Ryan Zachary Sullivan, and Nicholas Riley Sullivan.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life Service.
