Obituary
Alfred Edward Seys, 78, of Franklin, passed away Sat. Jan. 20, 2007.
Born in Waukegan, Illinois, he lived most of his life in Michigan. He was the son of the late Stephen C. Seys and Esther A. Rottmayor Seys. Alfred was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by five children, Cynthia Hacker and husband Michael of Marion, Iowa, Carol Reynolds and husband Albert of Franklin, Steven Seys of Texas, Laura Slagle and husband John of Franklin and Alan Seys of Franklin; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at First Assembly of God Church. Rev. Tom Grubb will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Angel Hospice Foundation, PO Box 815, Franklin, NC 28744.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
