Obituary
Agnes Elizabeth Allen, 76, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Algie Guyer and Lucy Reeves Guyer. In addition she was preceded in death by her husband, Furman Allen who died in 1981 and a brother, Marion Guyer. Agnes was a member of Iotla Baptist Church and the Katherine Sunday School Class and The Sew and Sews.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Allen and wife Tracy and Tommy Allen and wife Donna both of Franklin; a brother, Leonard Guyer of Franklin and four grandchildren, Dakota, Haley and Sabrina Allen and Kelly Clemons and two great grandchildren, Preston and Kaden.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 27, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Stacy Woods will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Roy Green, Chris Allen, Dearl Ledford, Dakota Allen, Tony Ledford and Claude Guyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Iotla Baptist Church Bus Fund,1537 Iotla Church Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
