Adelaide Lombardi Alessi (81) of Franklin, died Sunday, December 19, 2010, at her home.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York and came to Franklin in 1985 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

She was the daughter of the late Anthony Joseph Lombardi and Mildred La Colla Lombardi Fierro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Lombardi and her husband, Robert Leonard (Pops) Alessi who died in 2000.

She is survived by her two daughters, Roseanne Kushin (Randy), and Toni Jean Montgomery, both of Franklin. Four grandchildren, Tara Reese of Franklin, Brian Montgomery of Tampa, FL, Renee Benton (Doug) of Franklin and Robert Kushin (Dana) of Greenville, SC; seven great grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary & Nevada Reese of Franklin, Cameron Benton of Franklin, Brayden, Landon & Preston Kushin of Greenville, SC.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Dixon will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 4, from 6-8 p.m. at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tara Reese, Renee Benton, Brian Montgomery, Robert Kushin, Tyler Reese, Doug Benton, Randy Kushin, Peter Colaianni & Joseph D'Ascoli.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Zachary and Nevada Reese, Cameron Benton, Brayden, Landon and Preston Kushin.
